    Anatomy of a suicide

Three spaces and three women trapped in a time loop. One house over the years. Grandmother, mother, and daughter—their fates marked in their DNA. In the play, Carol, Anna, and Bonnie are young women in their thirties, and their stories are told simultaneously. Different timelines allow us to look at the life of one family not as a random combination of actions and their consequences, but as an intergenerational chain of events.
On stage, the wall curves like an echo, repeating itself in each successive life, in each generation. Its surface reveals traces of time – the wallpaper is fading, the furniture is falling into ruin. The house breathes with the memory of trauma.
The core of this space is textile – a transparent mesh on which the wallpaper pattern stretches like a silent witness to history. Over the years, it fades, tears, ages along with the house, revealing layers that were hidden. Its transparency allows it to penetrate different planes of time, opening up a view of the parallelism of events, of the simultaneity of life.
The culminating moment is the gesture of tearing down walls – revealing what lies beneath, what is hidden and unspoken. The private space of the apartment is confronted with the public space of the hospital, where life is reduced to a number, a card, an entry in a register. The intimacy of everyday life is thus intertwined with the anonymity of the system, and the home becomes a stage on which the fate of one family unfolds into a multigenerational, ongoing drama.
