Balladine is the story about guilty and punishment set in supernatural landscape. This is the journey into bride’s mind, who has chosen the path, that she cannot quit easily. Will the community of woman living on the edge of the forest help her? What is the secret behind the name of “Group G”, that Goplana quit one particular night? The real and unreal become one in this impossible to solve game. Freedom is the stake of this game. The form of the art work was inspired by my fascination with shapes present in the landscape. The form of the sculpture attests to a hillock. Its cylindrical figure makes an impression of a safe ground, almost like a mother’s womb. Simultaneously, this impression is confronted with the actual sharp angle of the edge. The object becomes a challenge for human body, exactly like a peak that can be reached only as the result of an intense effort.
