Description:
Femina articulates germination as a bodily and ecological force — a site where rupture and vitality coexist.
The work centers on suspended moment between rupture and birth. Intense reds pulse against earthy browns and greens, generating tension between interior depth and surface. The central organic form recalls both a flower’s cross-section and exposed biological tissue, oscillating between vegetal and corporeal realms. Relief protrusions and fully handmade execution emphasize the work’s physical, almost somatic presence, as if growth were unfolding beneath the textile’s skin. Here, abstraction becomes a metaphor for regeneration and the primal energy of cyclical renewal.
