My intention was to design a space, which will connect both spectators and actors. It is a kind of community platform which abolishes the division between the audience and a traditional scenography, which is defined as a space dedicated to actors. Actors and spectators were supposed to occupy this space together at equal rights. The designed space is far from the classical understanding of a theatre scenography and may be rather associated with an installation in an art gallery or small architecture. It is a type of a composed sculpture.
The material used for the construction are plastic boxes. Both shapes and colors of this architectural sculpture are precisely designed but the signs of a slight destruction of individual boxes reflect their actual usage. A series of reportages about simple common inhabitants from Małopolska are told in the performance. Used and slightly damaged boxes are real objects which I had found and which are deprived from their glamour. It was of my intention to use these trivial everyday objects in an original way.
